The Holland, Mass. father and son team of Dick and Rick Hoyt embody the spirit of the Boston Marathon. Since 1980, Rick, age 52, has participated in the Boston Marathon in a specially modified wheelchair, with Dick, age 73, pushing from behind. Rick has cerebal palsy, but that hasn’t stopped him and his father from competing in more than 1,000 races worldwide. 2014 will mark the last Boston Marathon for the two. It will be their 32nd time.
