NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) — The National Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for all of Connecticut in advance of a storm that’s expected to dump up to two feet of snow.
The blizzard warning issued Thursday will be in effect from Friday morning until Saturday afternoon. A blizzard warning means falling and blowing snow with strong winds and poor visibility are likely, leading to whiteout conditions and making travel extremely dangerous.
The strongest winds and heaviest snow are expected Friday evening into Saturday morning.
Connecticut officials say they’re prepared for the storm.
