HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — Fewer than 650 utility customers remain without power in Connecticut after the weekend’s massive snowstorm.
Connecticut Power & Light reports that 599 customers are without power that early Wednesday while United Illuminating says 50 homes and businesses still have no electricity. About 38,000 homes and businesses were without power at the storm’s peak
About 6,800 utility customers in the Northeast remain in the dark, most of them Massachusetts. More than 650,000 homes and businesses in eight states were without electricity at one point.
