According to the National Weather Service, a “significant and potentially dangerous coastal storm” is expected to hit New England Tuesday into Wednesday of next week. Current forecasts predict the height of the storm will be on Wednesday morning.
The storm is expected to bring a combination of heavy snow along with strong, damaging winds. The National Weather Service says coastal flooding is possible with high tide Wednesday morning.
The magnitude and exact snow amounts are still unclear, and shifts to the current track of the storm can change current estimates. At this time, the National Weather Service says they have the “highest confidence of significant impacts across southeast New England.”
