Tropical Storm Irene slams New England

Boat owners rushed to get their boats out of the water early Saturday morning at the town boat ramp in Mattapoisett. During Hurricane Bob in 1991, many boats were damaged when they washed up onto the landing because of the high winds and tidal surge that put 7 feet of water into the parking lot.
