    ANTIGOVERNMENT PROTESTS ROCK EGYPT

Protesters gathered Friday in Cairo's Tahrir Square, made famous by the 2011 protests that brought down former President Hosni Mubarak, to protest against the new president, Mohammed Morsi. Morsi’s decree that put his decisions above legal challenge until a new parliament was elected has caused fury amongst his opponents.
