Morocco factory fire death toll climbs to 55: MAP

RABAT (Reuters) - The death toll from a fire in a mattress factory in the Moroccan city of Casablanca climbed to 55 on Saturday, state news agency MAP reported.

Over 100 fire-fighters were deployed to bring the blaze under control at the factory in the Hay Hassani neighborhood of Morocco's economic capital, where some 60 people had been working at the time.
