Bomb kills policeman in Pakistani city of Karachi

KARACHI, Pakistan (AP) — Police say a bomb planted near a roadside stall exploded as a police patrol was passing in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi, killing one policeman.
Senior police officer Javed Odho says Thursday’s blast also wounded three other policemen and five civilians.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Karachi has a long history of ethnic, political and sectarian violence.
