Tanaka Becomes a New York Yankee

Right-hander Masahiro Tanaka became the newest New York Yankee on Tuesday (February 11). Tanaka signed a seven-year, $155 million (USD) deal to join the New York Yankees, making the Japanese ace the fifth highest paid pitcher in all of Major League Baseball. After taking off his jacket and putting on his Yankee jersey and hat in front of dozens of flashing cameras, Tanaka introduced himself. "Hello. My name is Masahiro Tanaka. I'm very happy to be Yankee."
