Train Blast Kills at Least 12 in Southwest Pakistan

At least 12 passengers were killed and over 30 wounded in a train blast in Pakistan's restive Baluchistan province on Tuesday (April 8), hospital sources and officials said. The explosion hit a wagon designated for male passengers of the Rawalpindi-bound Jaffar Express while it was at Sibi Railway Station. A rescue worker said the fire that engulfed other train compartments following the blast caused most of the deaths.
