Japanese Zoo Welcomes Red Panda Cub

Despite its name, this red panda cub is neither red, nor related to the famous giant panda. Born four months ago to female Yuka at Japan's Tobe Zoological Park, the unnamed cub will soon get its familiar red coat. It's the 10th red panda to be raised here since the zoo began its breeding program in 1998. Red pandas give birth to one cub a year on average and this is Yuka's second offspring. The zoo has invited the public to name the red panda cub.
