Japan Court Rules Tepco Responsible for Suicide

A court in Japan has ruled that the Fukushima nuclear plant Tepco was responsible for a woman's suicide in a landmark case that could set a precedent for other claims against the company. Mikio Watanabe filed a civil suit against TEPCO after his wife committed suicide by setting herself on fire. She became deeply depressed after the disaster forced her from her home which was just 30 miles from the nuclear plant. After the ruling Watanabe said he and his family are happy with the outcome
