April 16, 2011 A catamaran sightseeing boat that was thrown by the tsunami onto a two story building in the town of Otsuchi, Iwate prefecture, was there a month after the tsunami when this photo was taken. But now, one year later, the boat has been moved and much of the rubble that littered this fishing port has been cleared. But the town remains paralyzed, unable to rebuild, and unwilling to abandon.
