Since the tsunami destroyed Basi Rawa and 800 homes, villagers moved several hundred yards inland to set up a camp. However, the temporary housing lacks sanitation safeguards, creating a hazardous situation. Doctors Without Borders sponsored the building of this latrine, which cost about $200.
