Ahead of Mandela's 90th, a tour to remember
Sabrina Shankman, a Maine native and former newspaper reporter in Taunton, has a front-row seat in South Africa ahead of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday on Friday.
In this audio slideshow, Shankman, now an intern with The Associated Press in Johannesburg, joins tourists visiting the South African leader's former Soweto home and a prison where he spent some of his 27-year incarceration.
