The Nobel Peace Prize is always awarded in Oslo on Dec. 10, the anniversary of Alfred Nobel’s death in 1896. Similar ceremonies were being held in the Swedish capital for the Nobel laureates in medicine, chemistry, physics and literature.end of story marker
