Bank of France Forecast Brings Cheer for Hollande

It can be lonely at the top. Though a new GDP forecast might bring some cheer to the French president. The Bank of France says it sees a concensus-topping 0.5 percent jump in GDP in the last quarter of 2013. It sees it slowing again in the next quarter, but it does chime with recent claims by finance minister, Pierre Moscovici, and Bank of France governor, Christian Noyer, that growth is gradually picking up.
