U.S., Ukraine Sign $1 Billion Aid Deal

U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew and Ukrainian Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak signed a $1 billion loan guarantee in a ceremony at the U.S. Treasury Department on Monday (April 14). The guarantee will complement a multi-billion dollar aid and reform program provided by the International Monetary Fund to the crisis-ridden country. Lew said the agreement underscored the United States' commitment to Ukraine.
