HONOLULU—Parques Reunidos of Madrid, Spain, has announced the purchase of Sea Life Park in Hawaii.

Terms of the acquisition from Mexico-based Dolphin Discovery weren't disclosed. Dolphin Discovery bought the 22-acre Sea Life Park in January 2005.

Parques Reunidos said in a statement that there will be no personnel changes among the approximately 200 employees at Sea Life Park. The park's general manager, Jesus Bravo, will stay on under the new ownership.

Parques Reunidos says it now operates 62 amusement, water and animal parks in Europe, the United States and South America.

According to the company, its annual revenues exceed $700 million and its properties attracted about 22 million people last year.
