Youth (16) critical after Dublin attack

A 16-year-old youth is in a critical condition in hospital with head injuries after being assaulted in Dublin last night.

He was attacked by two men at  Shangan Road in Ballymun at around 10pm. He is currently in a critical condition in the intensive care unit at the Mater hospital. Two men were later arrested and are being held under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act at Ballymun and Santry Garda Stations.
