Boy (16) still critical after Dublin assault

A boy (16) remains in a critical condition in hospital today following an attack earlier this weekend.

He was attacked and beaten about the head at Shangan Road in Ballymun on Friday night. Two men appeared in court yesterday charged with assault causing harm in connection with the incident. The two, aged 32 and 23, were remanded in custody to appear in Cloverhill District Court next Wednesday.
