A woman in her late 60s was killed when she was struck by a dump truck in Co Cork yesterday.
The vehicle hit the pedestrian as it was leaving a building site in Cappagh, Kinsale, Co Cork, at 5.20pm.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene and her body was removed to Cork University Hospital.
A postmortem will take place today. Nobody else was injured in the accident.
