M50 northbound re-opens after crash

The M50 has reopened northbound following a serious collision earlier today.

All restrictions have now been lifted at Junction 5 at Finglas after the crash. The AA reports has advised motorists that there are delays at Junction 6 at Blanchardstown and also on the N3 inbound as a result. The M50 southbound is very slow from Junction 4 at Ballymun to Junction 5 at Finglas due to onlookers. Gardai are warning southbound drivers of severe and sudden slow-down and have advised motorists to approach with care. Separetely, the N21 in Limerick has also re-opened northbound approaching Adare following a multiple car collision this afternoon. All diversions have been lifted, but motorists have been advised that they can expect long delays.
