C. Mumbai

D. Dhaka

D. Dhaka is correct.

The city that most dominates its national economy is Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, which accounts for 60 percent of the country's economy. While it is a poor country, with a per capita gross domestic product of $1,400, it is the world's seventh-most populous country.

Cairo dominates Egypt's economy, with 50 percent of the country's GDP generated in the capital city, according to data from various national sources compiled by German reinsurance firm Munich Re.

Mexico City, with 19.3 million inhabitants, generates 40 percent of Mexico's GDP. Mumbai is India's leading business hub. Even so, it accounts for no more than about 15 percent of the national economy.
