Leonid Stadnyk (left) of Ukraine was named the world's tallest man by the Guinness World Records. He is 8 feet 4 inches tall.

He stood next to Ukraine's President Viktor Yushchenko as they talked in Kiev. Stadnyk received a car as a gift from the president.
