Tibetan Buddhist monks took part in a special prayer in Bylekuppa, India, about 155 miles southwest of Bangalore, to condemn the human rights violations in Tibet by China.

Bylekuppa, the largest Tibetan settlement outside Tibet, joined hundreds of Tibetan people and Buddhist monks in prayer on the day of the inauguration of the Olympics in Beijing.
