Mexico's Presidential election too close to call
The Mexican independent federal electoral institute urged calm among candidates and their followers last night, saying a result would be announced Wednesday.

According to citizen counts of 54 percent of ballots cast, Felipe Calderón, 43, the conservative former energy minister seen here at his campaign headquarters, was leading Andrés Manuel López Obrador, 52, the leftist former mayor of Mexico City, by 38 percent to 36 percent.
