The Western-backed leader of the Syrian opposition, Ahmad al-Jarba, is paying a visit to rebel fighters in the northern Idlib province. It's his way of showing support for them. In video obtained by Reuters, Jarba spends some time with the rebels before getting into the trenches himself. Jarba was re-elected as the Syrian opposition's leader for a second six-month term in January. He had previously participated in the UN-mediated Geneva peace talks that produced little progress.
