JERUSALEM -- US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice left the Middle East last night with no apparent gains to show from her talks with Israeli, Lebanese, and Palestinian officials. Fighting intensified, as Israel's air force resumed bombing Hezbollah targets in southern Beirut and Hezbollah fired more than 100 rockets into Israel. (Full article: 1280 words)
