Senior running back Shad Abrokwah scored five touchdowns, four in the first half as the third-ranked Pioneers (4-0) went ahead by 32 at intermission. Abrokwah took it in three times from the goal line, caught a 13-yard TD pass from junior quarterback Drew Smiley and then completed the St. John's scoring with a 20-yard TD run in the third quarter. Smiley tossed for a pair of TDs, the other going to sophomore Davon Jones on a 21-yard strike. Barron Dandridge also brought in a blocked punt 10 yards to the end zone. Scott Tupper and Cody Dickinson both ran in TDs for the Mountaineers (2-2).
