North's Edward Boateng scored the winner in the 58th minute when he deposited a shot into the upper right corner to break up a 1-1 tie Junior Derrick Acheampong put away a feed from Ever Pacheco in the 39th minute to give the Polar Bears (4-1) the lead at intermission. Nick White got in behind the defense to level for the Pioneers (2-3) in the 50th minute.
