The Wildcats (3-4, 2-1) scored the final 14 points of the game to pull away from the Blue Knights (3-5, 2-2) in a Mid-Wach C matchup in Gardner. Brandon Williams rushed for 174 yards on 21 carries including touchdown runs of 7 and 35 yards, and also threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Jamison Kelley to put the game away in the fourth quarter. Kelley also caught a 68-yard touchdown pass from Andy Guay in the second quarter. Ken Correa had 6 carries for 62 yards, including a 25-yard TD in the second quarter that gave the Wildcats a 20-0 lead. Lunenburg chipped away at the lead, with Greg Abare pounding in a 1-yard TD run just before halftime, then adding a 4-yard TD run to cap a 10-play, 80-yard drive on the Blue Knights' first possession of the second half. Trailing by just a touchdown, 20-13, Lunenburg attempted and recovered an onsides kick, but a penalty negated the play and a subsequent try failed. Abare finished with 71 yards on 17 carries.
