Dan Bothwell tossed a pair of touchdowns for the Hawks (5-5), but it was a conversion run on the opening score by Bobby Brisbois that made the difference as they snuck past the upstart Gaels (3-7) with a late TD. Bothwell found Brisbois for a 10-yard TD in the first quarter and then connected with James Adams for the final score in the fourth quarter. Adams totaled 46 yards on the ground and had four catches for 30 yards. Darnell Butler ran for 32 yards and had an interception, while Bothwell added 38 rushing yards. Tyler Scerra caused a fumble to highlight a strong performance by the Hudson line. Ronye Noel scored on a 21-yard run, while Alex Santiago caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Cutler to briefly give the Gaels the lead in the fourth quarter. Clinton had three turnovers in the final four minutes to help the Hawks.
