Junior quarterback Alex McLaughlin ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns, and threw for 238 yards and four touchdowns to power the Tigers (1-0) past the visiting Gaels (0-1). The Gaels were led by Matt McEvilly's two touchdown runs, including a 34-yard run for an early 14-6 lead. McLaughlin and the Tigers answered with 26 straight points, including TD passes to Travis Bassett (118 receiving yards) and two to Ryan Sullivan (80 yards receiving). Matt Jackson had 12 tackles for Littleton and Ryan Clark added 10. Freshman Tom Russell also scored his first varsity touchdown for Clinton.
