Ronye Noel swept left for an 18-yard TD run with about four minutes left and Matt McEvilly rushed for the two-point conversion, giving the Gaels (1-3) the win over the visiting Spartans (1-3). The TD was set up by a 40-yard pass from Cutler to Matt Notaro and Cutler also made game-sealing interception with about two minutes left. Oakmont took a 20-7 halftime lead as Jacob Zagwyn scored three times, including on a 72-yard run, and he also rushed for a two-point conversion. Clinton scored on Notaro's 5-yard run that was set up by a 62-yard-pass from Cutler to sophomore Andrew Grady and also scored on a 7-yard, third-quarter run by Notaro.
