Junior quarterback Alex McLaughlin rushed 11 times for 138 yards and three touchdowns and completed 4 of 8 passes for 52 yards and a score to lead the host Tigers (5-1) past the Bernardians (0-5). McLaughlin opened the scoring with a 54-yard score and added a 24-yard jaunt before hitting Ryan Sullivan for a 19-yard touchdown pass as Littleton took a 26-6 lead at halftime. Travis Bassett (13 carries, 89 yards) also scored on a 3-yard run for Littleton. McLaughlin also scored on a 1-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Inside linebackers Matt Jackson, Ryan Clark and Ian Howard all had 10 tackles for the Tigers. Brian Hewitt had a 73-yard touchdown run for St. Bernard's, while Justin Valliere had a 1-yard touchdown run and connected with Sean Maki for a 33-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Bernardians.
