Narragansett 60, St. Bernard’s 34

Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at Baldwinville

Sophomore fullback Joe O'Neill rushed for touchdowns of 27 and 23 yards and added a 2-point conversion in the first quarter as the host Warriors (6-3) jumped out to a 21-0 lead in Baldwinville. Junior Evan Welch also had a pair of touchdowns for Narragansett, which led, 35-20, at halftime. The Bernardians (0-7) hung in there valiantly behind senior quarterback Justin Valliere's four touchdown passes, two each to senior wideout Bryan Franciosi and junior Sean Maki, who caught a 62-yarder early in the third quarter to make it a 35-26 game. But 'Gansett outscored St. Bernard's after that, 25-8.
