Senior running back Chuck Keenan rushed for 125 yards and two touchdowns, and added another score on a 23-yard interception return in the third quarter, to spark the Tigers past the visiting Panthers in the season opener for both teams. Keenan had TD runs of 34 yards in the first quarter and 2 yards in the second. His brother, freshman running back Jake Keenan, added a 1-yard run for Tyngsboro's final TD in the third quarter. Junior quarterback Jack Trottier was 4-for-7 passing for 42 yards and scored the game's first TD on a 6-yard run in the first quarter for the Tigers, who led at halftime, 21-6. With Tyngsboro up, 21-0, junior running back Marc Lamoureux got David Prouty on the board with a 1-yard run in the second quarter. The Panthers scored the game's final TD on junior running back Brandon Roy's 1-yard dive in the fourth period.
