After the Panthers' Dylan Kierman scored on a 1-yard quarterback sneak with 1:25 left to cut the lead to 28-27, the Crusaders' Ben Butler deflected Kierman's conversion pass attempt to seal a road win for Groton-Dunstable (3-0, 1-0 Mid-Wach C). Crusaders' quarterback Mack Eberhardt rushed 15 times for 94 yards, while completing 4 of 12 passes for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Quinton Forbes had 7 rushes for 92 yards and added a 60-yard touchdown for Groton-Dunstable and Coleman Hill had a 56-yard touchdown rush for the Crusaders. Kierman scored on a 1-yard rush with 1:25 left, but his conversion pass fell incomplete to seal the win for the Crusaders. Kierman completed 13 of 30 passes for 205 yards, while rushing for 105 yards and two touchdowns for Quabbin (2-1, 0-1). Justin Coppolino caught a 32-yard touchdown pass and Anthony Curci added a 7-yard touchdown catch from Kierman.
