Senior quarterback Steven Gould totaled four touchdowns to lead the visiting Lions (9-1, 4-1 Mid-Wach D) as they scored four times in the second half to beat the Tigers (5-5, 2-3) after being tied, 14-14, at the break. Gould completed only four of his 10 throws, but three of them went for scores. He ran in a one-yard TD in the fourth quarter as well. Senior tailback Mike Pace carried 14 times for 118 yards and two TDs on the ground. Pace also caught a 51-yard TD strike in the second quarter for the longest scoring play of the game. Maynard's Sean Peterson and Shawn Kennedy rushed for 142 yards apiece. Kennedy ran in the opening score of the game, while Peterson had three TDs, two of them coming in the fourth quarter.
