Narragansett senior Trevor Richard only completed 4 of 7 passes for 48 yards, but he made them count, throwing for a pair of TDs to put the No. 10 Warriors (2-0) ahead, 28-6, in the third quarter as they topped the visiting Red Raiders (1-1). Richard hit Cam Savoy for a 15-yard TD in the second quarter and then found Evan Welch with six-yard TD strike in the third quarter. Sophomore Joe O'Neil (16 carries, 119 yards) and senior Ben Benoit (10 carries, 58 yards) both ran in Narragansett touchdowns. Athol QB Jerry Parker went 9 for 18, throwing for 272 yards and two TDs, while also running six times for 78 yards and on TD.
