Dan Avery threw three of his four touchdown passes in the second quarter, two to receiver Shawn Wilkins, and the host Beavers (8-0, 5-0 Colonial Athletic League) opened up a 21-6 halftime lead in Upton. After a scoreless first quarter, Wilkins got Valley Tech on the board with a 76-yard TD catch in the second quarter. He added a 13-yard score later in the quarter, with Bailey Leacy's extra point making it 14-0. Avery threw a 5-yard touchdown to Nic Wojnar to cap the scoring in the first half, and added a 55-yard TD strike to Pat Durkin in the third quarter. Taylor Hanson's 9-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter gave the Beavers a 34-6 lead. Leacy was 4 of 5 on PATs. Paul Harpin and Kyle Fernandes each had a touchdown run for the Aztecs (5-3, 3-1).
