"Flutie Magic" was on display, once again, in Natick on Friday night. Just a week after throwing for 138 yards and two touchdown passes in the Red Hawks’ 47-6 win over Brookline, quarterback Troy Flutie found sophomore wide receiver Brian Dunlap for the game-winning touchdown. With under 10 seconds to go, and the No. 9-ranked Red Hawks trailing, 10-7, Flutie fired a pass to Dunlap for a 5-yard touchdown to lead Natick (2-0) past Norwood, 14-7. Last week, Flutie and Dunlap hooked up six times, including for a touchdown. The two have connected for 16 touchdowns in just more than a season playing together. Down, 10-0, in the third quarter, Flutie also rushed for a 15-yard touchdown that brought the Red Hawks to within three at 10-7. Overall, Flutie rushed for 124 yards on 10 carries, in addition to the touchdown pass. Next week, the Red Hawks travel to Milton to face the league rival Wildcats (0-2), looking to keep their unbeaten season alive.
