Sometimes it's just about being in the right place at the right time. Sutton High's Rachel Fox and Cierra Dubinsky both found themselves in that position during Wednesday night's Division 3 girls' soccer state semifinal and converted when the ball fell to them on the doorstep, and the opportunistic Suzies toppled Western Mass. champion Lenox, 2-0, at Westfield State's Alumni Field. Fox buried the go-ahead goal at the right post late in the first half after the Millionaires couldn't clear it off their line. Dubinsky did the same in the 65th minute, this time finishing at the left post on a swing pass from Sarah Kane. ‘‘What they learned in that second half (of the season) was all goals aren't going to come from 18 yards,'' Sutton coach David Payne said. ‘‘A goal's a goal. Get around that post, get around that goal mouth, and something good will happen.'' The Suzies (18-3-1) will play in the state final at 10 a.m. Saturday at Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium against Eastern Mass. champion Weston. It's a rematch of the 2010 state final, which Weston won, 3-1.
