Tim Berry had a game-high 18 points and Kevin Riley scored all nine of his points in the fourth quarter as the sixth-ranked Guardians (7-1) held on to shock the Knights (7-1) in West Roxbury. Berry had 10 rebounds and joined Riley in making key free throws in the game's final moments. Jalen Evans-Ashton and Anthony Manzello each chipped in seven points for the Guardians, who limited CM's 20-point-per-game scorer Gullien Smith to six points. SPM led 21-6 after the first quarter and 25-21 at halftime, but the Knights, who were paced by Rich Lopez's 14 points, led 32-31 after the third.
