Host AMSA (4-2) held onto a three-point lead with five seconds left, going to a full-court press and denying a final shot to record its first win over Bethany Christian (5-2) in three years. Senior Adam Gill scored 10 of his team-high 17 points in the second half for AMSA, while sophomore Devon Thyne scored five of his 15 points and added six rebounds in the fourth quarter. Thyne finished with 11 boards. Chris Caughey led Bethany Christian with 17 points, while Andrew Riel added 13.
