Ali Brodeur scored 14 points to lead the visiting Red-Tailed Hawks, who outscored the Eagles, 21-10, over the second and third periods to win in Worcester in the opener for both teams. Jess Fonseca added 12 points and Sarah Small 10 for Innovation. St. Mary's lost 5-foot-10 senior center Tiana Page, who had scored seven points, with a dislocated shoulder in the second quarter. She was replaced by her sister, 5-7 sophomore Taylor Page. Senior point guard Ashlyn Roy led the Eagles with eight points.
