If the championship round of the Lori Bourn Tournament is any indication, keeping a lid on Tia Joubert and the Assabet Regional girls basketball team this tournament season will be no easy task. The Aztecs claimed the championship title with a stunning 44-42 victory over host West Boylston on Wednesday night, only moments after it appeared to be all gloom and doom for the visitors. Joubert (21 points) hobbled off the floor with less than two minutes left in the game after aggravating a knee injury that she sustained earlier this month. The junior guard didn't stay out for long. Seconds later, she returned, and fed Brianna Donnellon for a quick basket, popped in 3-pointer to tie it at 42-42 with 39 seconds remaining, and closed it out with a bucket off a feed from Hunter Drake with 10 seconds left.
