No. 3 Quaboag clamped down on defense in the second half and held No. 6 Main South to just four field goals in the third and fourth quarters as Jake Wisniewski led Quaboag with 32 points and 18 rebounds in the win. Quaboag (20-3) plays No. 10 Hopedale at 6 p.m. Monday at WPI in a semifinal game. Main South held Quaboag's leading scorer Thomas Jankins to just 14 points, but his teammates picked up the slack, led by Wisniewski, Ethan Lacaire (15 points) and Greg Sokol (7 points). Main South (17-5) rallied in the second quarter, as Jeffrey Moore scored 10 of his team-high 27 points to cut Quaboag's lead to 42-39 at halftime. Timothy Wilkins added 12 points for Main South.
