The Shrewsbury youth movement marches on. The third-seeded Colonials, led by junior attacker Devan Michael, sophomore attackers Lauren Ineson and Alexa Tonelli, sophomore midfielder Caroline Trabucco and sophomore goalie Jamie Matys, defeated second-seeded Tyngsboro, 22-13, Wednesday at Commerce Bank Field at Foley Stadium. Shrewsbury (17-5) faces top-seeded Algonquin here at 2:30 p.m. Saturday for the Central Mass. Division 1 championship. The Tigers finished 16-4. Ineson scored four of her team-best six goals in the first half, and Michael had her four tallies in the second half, including the winner 30 seconds in. “The girl who was guarding me was doing a great job, so it was great to see everyone have a chance with the ball,” said Michael, who still had three assists in the first half. “For me (in the second half) I think it was better draw control, getting the ball off the draw and pushing it toward the net. I got some great feeds from Lauren Ineson and Caroline Trabucco.”
